Regina Daniels clears the air on statement about having 20

Regina Daniels clears the – Regina Daniels clears the…

Regina Daniels clears the – She clarifies that even…

She clarifies that even though she had numerous suitors, she was a virgin until she got married.

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sought to clear the air about her viral video where she stated that she had about 20 boyfriends at the time that she met her husband, Ned Nwoko.

In the viral clip from her recent TikTok livestream, Daniels tried to debunk the popular notion that she had ‘no choice’ when she married Nwoko at age 19, stressing that she had numerous suitors when she met her husband.

She said, “When I started with my husband, I even forgot that I was supposed to have boyfriends. If course I had like 20 at the time, I can count them. This one is to buy me water; this one is to buy me chewing gum; this one is to drive me around. So when people think I didn’t have a choice, it’s crazy.”

Her statement sparked various reactions across social media and from her husband as well, which led to her taking to Instagram on October 30, 2024, to clarify what she meant. In her post, she encouraged boys and girls to abstain from sex until marriage, as she did.

“Hey everyone I want to clarify the 20 boyfriend ish solely to soothe my husband and also educate young girls that having several male/boy friends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body. And oh yes. I did have a lot but I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did!!!. It’s a big flex,” she wrote.

In an attempt to calm her followers down, she added, “But hold on ! What did you guys expect na ? It was your little beautiful sweetheart, Regina Daniels of course men and ladies would admire. So everyone chill pls.”

Great Adamz confronts Nigeria’s deep-rooted political rot in 'Blessing' video

In an era where artists are either too scared or too strategic to speak the truth, Great Adamz chooses neither. Instead, he chooses justice. He chooses honesty.

He chooses “Blessing”—the opening track off his latest album—as his weapon of truth. And now, he’s bringing it to the screen in a powerful new video that drops Friday, April 25th, 2025.

While the song carries spiritual undertones of prayer, perseverance, and eventual breakthrough, it’s Verse Two that cuts through Nigeria’s political hypocrisy like a surgeon’s blade. It isn’t subtle. It isn’t polished. It’s raw, uncomfortable, and necessary.

> “Politician Dey Jelo, chop us like indomie / If you talk too much na felony…”

This isn’t metaphor for metaphor’s sake—it’s reality. It’s the fuel subsidy scam. It’s the bloated budgets, the stomach infrastructure politics, the lawmakers buying luxury SUVs while citizens ration petrol and food. It’s the kind of truth that too often gets swallowed by censorship or sanitized by fear.

> “You gon learn o, you gon learn / Where dem dey take this money go? / Shey na six feet down below?”

Adamz doesn’t just ask rhetorical questions. He issues a moral indictment. As Nigeria grapples with crippling inflation, a volatile Naira, mass unemployment, and violent insecurity, this verse puts the corrupt elite on trial—not in court, but in the court of public opinion.

He challenges the obscene detachment of leadership in lines that bite hard:

> “Them dey hail you Presido / While you dey kill your people slow”

This is not just a song. It’s a mirror. A protest. A prayer wrapped in poetry. It calls out the rot without apology and demands better—not through slogans, but through accountability.

And still, even amidst the anger, “Blessing” retains a thread of hope. Because that’s the paradox of being Nigerian—you rage, you mourn, you hustle, and you hope. The chorus still pleads for favour. Still believes in God’s timing. Still looks to the sky while calling out the snakes in the system.

With the official video set to premiere this Friday, expect visuals that match the intensity of the message. Expect symbolism. Expect truth. And if you’re in power and this makes you uncomfortable? Good. It should.

This is not just entertainment.

This is a statement.

This is Great Adamz.

And this is “Blessing.”

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and genre-fluid innovator Dice Ailes makes a vibrant return with ‘Towa’, a log drum-laced love declaration that merges street bounce with romantic bravado.

‘Towa’ is Dice Ailes at his most confident and charismatic, a lover boy with receipts.

On a beat powered by pulsating log drums and breezy Afropop melodies, Dice paints a picture of loyalty that laughs in the face of hardship.

It’s cheeky, addictive, and honest, the kind of record that plays just as well in a beach club as it does in a danfo.

At its core, ‘Towa’ isn’t about fairy-tale fantasies; it’s about a partner so solid, even broken days come with laughter, warmth, and unwavering devotion.

It’s about love without conditions. Love that stays. Love that chooses you, always. Produced with a kinetic groove that nods to the Amapiano wave but anchored in Nigerian rhythmic sensibilities, ‘Towa’ is a smooth evolution for Dice Ailes balancing lyrical with sonic experimentation.

He’s not here to beg for love; he’s here to prove he’s worth it, no matter the bank balance.

With a decade in the Nigerian music industry, Dice Ailes is an important voice in Afrobeats, as he has contributed to shaping the new school sound.

Known for his catchy hooks and collaborations with industry heavyweights like award-winning rapper Falz and history-making Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage, Dice Ailes has solidified a versatile star in Nigerian music.
