The Best Street Style From Paris Fashion Week Spring

Good web design has visual weight, is optimized for various devices, and has content that is prioritized for the medium. The most important elements of a web page should have more visual weight to “naturally attract” a visitor’s attention.

Good design is making something intelligible and memorable. Great design is making something memorable and meaningful.

Dieter Rams

Most users search for something interesting (or useful) and clickable; as soon as some promising candidates are found, users click. If the new page doesn’t meet users’ expectations, the back button is clicked and the search process is continued.

A good website should be easy to navigate

Not all websites are made equal. Some websites are simple, logical, and easy to use. Others are a messy hodgepodge of pages and links.

How are innovations in robotics changing the way we perceive the world?

Without website navigation, your visitors can’t figure out how to find your blog, your email signup page, your product listings, pricing, contact information, or help docs.

Quick and easy access to the content they’re after is more important for your website users than a… visually-stunning design.

Creating visual rhythms in your layouts

In design, rhythm is created by simply repeating elements in predictable patterns. This repetition is a natural thing that occurs everywhere in our world. As people, we are driven everyday by predictable, timed events.

Why does Bluetooth use lossy rather than lossless compression

One of the best ways to use repetition and rhythm in web design is in the site’s navigation menu. A consistent, easy-to-follow pattern—in color, layout, etc. Gives users an intuitive roadmap to everything you want to share on your site.

  • Direct the Eye With Leading Lines
  • Balance Out Your Elements
  • Use Elements That Complement Each Other
  • Be clear about your “focal points” and where you place them

Diving into UX and UI design

UX and UI: Two terms that are often used interchangeably, but actually mean very different things. So what exactly is the difference?

Styles come and go. Good design is a language, not a style.

Massimo Vignelli

UX design refers to the term “user experience design”, while UI stands for “user interface design. Both elements are crucial to a product and work closely together. But despite their relationship, the roles themselves are quite different.

Breaking down the barriers

Design is not the end-all solution to all of the worlds problems — but with the right thinking and application, it can definitely be a good beginning to start tackling them.

Nigerian singer and Grammy-winning artist, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has advised the global community to visit Lagos and Ghana before forming an opinion about Africa.

Speaking in an interview with Fashion Bomb Daily during the 2025 Met Gala in New York, Tems called on the global community to experience firsthand the rich culture of Africa instead of relying on the skewed notions commonly peddled by people who have never set foot on the continent.

Therefore, the ‘Love Me Jeje’ singer invited international visitors to experience Africa, especially Lagos and Ghana, firsthand and gain a genuine perspective on life on the continent.

The singer noted that the true allure of Africa is found in its vibrant cultures and artistic expressions.

She said, “I always encouraged people to go to Lagos and Ghana for vacation. Just go and see for yourself before you make an opinion [about Africa]. See it for yourself and see how you feel.

“I think it [the beauty of Africa] is in the creativity, the daily efforts, the looks, the songs, the traditions and the cultures.”

Tems also spoke about how diverse African music is, contrary to the global perception that it is just Afrobeats.

“We [Africans] can go further in every single aspect of sound. We are not just Afrobeats. There is Amapiano, Afrosoul, R&B, Afro Jazz. There are so many genres in African music that people are not all the way tapped into yet,” the singer said.

Popular Lagos socialite, Mike Eze-Nwalie Nwogu, popularly known as Pretty Mike, stole the show on the red carpet of the AMVCA 2025 as he arrived in a jaw-dropping exosuit inspired by a futuristic ‘Terminator’ aesthetic.

With the sci-fi movie-inspired outfit, Pretty Mike again proved why he is regarded by many as the king of outrageous event entrances.

The socialite has made a name for himself with his dramatic entrances at events, pushing the limits each time he shows up for the most talked-about gatherings in the country.

Recently, at socialite Obi Cubana’s 50th birthday party, Pretty Mike stunned the event with his unusual entrance, which included 50 ‘accident victims’.

In the video of the entrance that made the rounds, the ladies were seen all wrapped up head to toe in white gauze, with some faking a limp to mimic their look.

However, for his latest grand entrance, Pretty Mike elected to stun AMVCA 2025 attendees in his metallic ensemble, complete with robotic elements.

When sharing photos of his look on his social media page, he captioned them, “What’s fashion without the audacity? ANDROMEDA in exosuit.

Earlier in February, Pretty Mike gave some insights into the rationale behind his dramatic entrances and the price tag associated with them.

When asked whether there is a message behind his grand entrances, the socialite explained that his goal is simple: to catch people’s attention and stand out.

Putting a cost to his controversial event entrances, Pretty Mike revealed that he sometimes spends millions to bring his visions to life.

He said, “Funny enough, I’ve not sat down to calculate it, but whatever it takes to execute it, sometimes five, six, or seven million naira.”

Tanzanian singer Juma Jux has opened up about his whirlwind series of wedding celebrations with Nigerian influencer Priscilla Ojo, revealing his desire to marry her in every meaningful location tied to their relationship.

Speaking about their upcoming final wedding reception, Jux said he and Priscilla will conclude their extended celebrations on May 28 in Tanzania. “This is the final round, the big one,” he announced. “I call it the final one because my wife is tired already.”

Juma revealed that the extensive and extravagant wedding ceremonies held thus far had caused a strain on Priscilla, particularly due to the elaborate outfits and preparations expected of brides.

He clarified that he wanted more weddings as the six weddings done weren’t enough to prove his undying love for her.

She always tells me, ‘it’s easy for you because you’re wearing a suit; you don’t have to go through a lot with dressing.’ I understand her; she’s gone through a lot. 5-6 weddings is not even enough for me; I wanted more. I wanted to go to the place where we first met but she has no energy; she has tried.

The award-winning singer let his fans know that the wedding finale was going to be the biggest one of them all.

Tanzania is the final one, the last one and because it’s the final one, I’d put everything on that. It’s going to be crazy; my friends from different countries are coming from Uganda Kenya, china, USA, and even Tanzania
