Honourable Natasha, the fiancée of controversial veteran singer, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face or 2baba, has stirred up public reactions after she introduced herself to her colleagues in the Edo State House of Assembly.

The 30-year-old lawmaker, during plenary, has been caught in a now-circulating video clip saying, “Mr Speaker, my name is Honourable Natasha Irobosa Osawaru nee Idibia” shortly before she burst into laughter.

This threw the House into a brief state of frenzy as she was teased for the proclamation and interrupted several times.

She then pleaded for some more time to put herself together before carrying on with her speech to second a motion earlier raised by a colleague.

Reacting to this video, Nigerians have raised their eyebrows at her wrong usage of the term ‘Nee’ which is used in giving a married woman’s maiden name after her surname.

Damilare Odulesi, DevOps Consultant & Trainer, commented on X,

Does she know what Nee means?

Eno, another X user replied,

You know I even paused for a second

Another user with the moniker, Frank Moore, wrote,

I confused oo. Abi na me be the mumu.

Going further to explain the error, a user with the handle @Wandelakanu_ commented,

Nee Idibia ??? Does she even know what “Nee” means ?? Shouldn’t she have said Hon. Natasha Irobosa Idibia Nee Osarawu ?

The user @HowKilts replied,

Nee should mean her fathers name.

Concerned about the marriage ceremony, a user identified as Adewale Damilare wrote,

These guys are married already. But having it secretly isn’t an honorable thing though!

The Edo Lawmaker has also changed her name on her Instagram page. It now appears as ‘Honourable Natasha IDIBIA.’

Veteran Nollywood actor, Kanayo O. Kanayo, has shared a firm and heartfelt message to his daughter, Uloaku, on her 25th birthday, outlining the expectations he has for her in the coming years.

In a birthday post on his official social media account, Kanayo congratulated his daughter and urged her to reflect deeply on her journey so far. He wrote:

“My dear daughter, uloaku (bank/house of wealth), congratulations on your 25th birthday. From little Valerie to a prospective Madam Uloaku, as I told you this morning while praying for you, it should be a day of sober reflection, things to copy, things to paste. things to delete,” he said.

The actor, known for his discipline and work ethic, acknowledged his daughter’s complaints about his frequent absence due to work commitments. He explained that being constantly on the move is part of his profession.

“Your issue with me has always been ‘you are always travelling, hardly at home. ‘ Uloaku, good actors travel, always on the move because they are always hired. thank God I am still very active and relevant. try and tolerate me.”

He then made it clear that by the time she turns 27, he expects her to have made a definitive life choice, either to be married, pursue a PhD, or live independently.

“In all these, please ensure that before 2027, you are either walking down the aisle, going for your phd or walking out of my house. simpliciter. ka chukwu okike abiama gozierem Uloaku.”

Kanayo’s message has sparked conversations online about parental expectations and the pressure often placed on adult children to meet certain milestones by a specific age.

Global superstar Drake has become the artist with the most cumulative weeks on the Billboard 200 chart.

The Grammy winner surpassed the previous record held by iconic band The Beatles thanks to his recent collaborative album with PartyNextDoor ‘$ome $exy 4 U’ which became his 14th NO. 1 album as a soloist.

Drake’s 14th NO. 1 Billboard 200 topping album saw him equal hip hop icon Jay Z and Pop music megastar Taylor Swift as joint second.

It also put Drake just five NO. 1 albums behind the record of 19 chart-topping albums set by The Beatles.

‘$ome $exy 4 U’ is Drake’s first album since his iconic beef with Kendrick Lamar which resulted in the hit record ‘Not Like Us’ that became the subject of a lawsuit against Univeral Music Group.

In his petition against the label he is signed to, Drake accused the company of failing to stop the release of a song that contained injurious falsehoods about him.

He also claimed UMG used bots and other unethical means to inflate the Spotify streams of the song to make it more popular than it is.

2025 is expected to be a busy year for Drake who was recently announced as the highest-selling rapper of 2024 by IFPI.

The Canadian history-breaking artist is also the second best-selling artist of 2024 behind Taylor Swift, who topped the list for the third consecutive year and fifth overall time.
