Former Manchester United star Paul Pogba is set to return to full training with Juventus.
Paul Pogba’s four-year doping ban has reportedly been slashed to 18 months, paving the way for his return to football next year.
The former Manchester United midfielder was initially handed a four-year suspension in 2023 after a drug test revealed elevated testosterone levels in his system.
Pogba vehemently denied any wrongdoing and vowed to appeal the decision at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
France captain Kylian Mbappe has sent a message to World Cup-winning teammate Antoine Griezmann following his retirement from international football.
Paul Pogba set to return to football
According to the DailyMail, CAS has now reduced Pogba’s ban, allowing him to resume training with Juventus as early as January. He’ll be eligible to play matches again in March, and his initial fine has been scrapped.
Pogba remains contracted to Juventus until 2026, having signed a 4-year deal with the Italian giants after leaving Manchester United in 2022.
Pogba will now return to training as he hopes to play some part in Juventus’ season, or perhaps seal a move elsewhere.
