Flamingos Gear Up for 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic. The Nigerian women’s under seventeen football team known as the Flamingos have landed in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic’s capital.
Ahead of the 2024 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, Olowookere names 21 Flamingos for the Dominican Republic.
The group, which included 21 players, members of the coaching staff, and representatives from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), have landed in Santo Domingo.

The Dominican Republic will host the FIFA Under Seventeen Women’s World Cup in 2024, with the Flamingos being one of the 24 participating nations.
Before the World Cup begins, they will play a number of warm-up games during their two-week training tour in Santo Domingo.
The Nigerian team have settled to their training camp and began preparations as soon as they arrived in the nation’s capital.
From October 16 to November 3, the competition will be held in the Dominican Republic.

Flamingos will tackle Ecuador, New Zealand and Dominican Republic in group A of the competition
On Wednesday, October 16, they will play their debut match against New Zealand.
