Grammy winner Wizkid has release the music video for his single ‘Kese (Dance)’.

The song released as the second lead single off his sixth album ‘Morayo’ enjoyed immediate success and broke the record for the highest opening day streams for any song on Spotify Nigeria.

The music video is the second from the album after ‘Piece of My Heart’ featuring Brent Faiyaz, which recently won the prize for Best Contemporary Duo or Group at the 2025 NAACP Awards.

The video produced by JM Films sees Wizkid make his directorial debut as he leads a production that features dancers dressed like ballerinas while showcasing trending dance moves in a dimly lighter theatre. The music video also features multiple vixens who keeps him company as he basks in the comfort of superstardom.

The hitmaker is gearing up for a busy 2025, where he will be on the road for his Morayo tour. He recently announced dates in France, Netherlands, and Germany as he sets to go on tour.

The hitmaker will be headlining the 12,000-capacity Velodrome Arena in Berlin Germany on May 21 before taking to the Ahoy RTM Stage in Rotterdam Netherlands on May 23.

On May 25, Wizkid will be headlining the famous 20,000-capacity Accor Arena.

The tour is coming off the back of the release of Wizkid’s sixth album ‘Morayo’.

The project released in November 2024 features guest appearances from Afrobeats star Asake, French hitmaker Tiakola, French-Gabonese singer Anais Cardot, and American R&B stars Jasmine Sulivan and Brent Faiyaz.

Fans will be excited to see Wizkid back on the road as the singer has achieved several notable feats with his tour including selling out the O2 Arena for three consecutive nights.

Wizkid also achieved a major stride when he headlined the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

The highly anticipated tour will see the hitmaker get back on the road to perform some of the hit records with which he has cemented his place as one of the greatest Nigerian artists of the 21st century.

The enigmactic rapper Kanye West AKA YE appears to be in the mood for mending broken relationships as he sends a bold message to Canadian rapper Drake.

In a post on his X account where he if followed by 33 million users, YE AKA Kanye West shared that he let jealousy get the better of him and also admitted to loving Drake before requestung that the Canadian rapper speak at his funeral.

The post is the latest in a series of social media posts that suggest the 24-time Grammy winner is attempting to settle his beef with Drake.

In a previous post on X, YE commented “cool” on a picture of Drake performing on stage at his Australian concert.

The Chicago-born rapper who is known for his controversial takes has been in the news a lot in 2025 and mostly for the wrong reasons.

The rapper recently made a series of divisive posts on X, including admitting to being a racist, supporting indicted rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs, and even going as far as sharing his admiration for German war criminal Adolf Hitler.

YE’s latest effort to repair his damaged relationship with Drake is typical of his on-and-off relationship with other rappers with whom he has developed a bond over the years. Drake and YE’s relationship goes back two decades ago when the American rapper produced his breakout single ‘Find Your Love’.

Since then, they have both shared their admiration for one another while also engaging in public beef.

The duo famously reached a truce in 2021 when they performed at the Kanye West-organised Free Larry Hoover Concert. Drake would later refer to it as a favour to Houston Music Executive J Prince on the track ‘Circo Loco’ off ‘Her Loss,’ his joint album with 21 Savage.

Drake is yet to respond to YE’s statement. However, his fans might have a more favourable view of the situation, especially since the hitmaker could use more allies after his era-defining beef with Kendrick Lamar.

Nigerian singer and entrepreneur, Mr Eazi, has announced the passing of his mother, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade, in a heartfelt tribute shared on social media.

On March 6, 2025, the singer posted a picture of himself and his mother, expressing deep gratitude and admiration. He reflected on his mother’s impact on his life, describing her as his greatest protector, toughest critic, and truest fan.

He wrote, “Thank you, Mummy, For your strength, your sacrifices, and your unwavering faith. For raising us with love, discipline, and devotion to God. For teaching me confidence, entrepreneurship, forgiveness, and family. You were my greatest protector, my toughest critic, and my truest Fan. You were not perfect, but you were perfect to me. Your legacy lives on. Rest well, Ifeoma Edith Ajibade.”
