After a heated debate between fans and media members throughout the season, Indiana Fever player Caitlin Clark was voted the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year.
Las Vegas Aces center A’Ja Wilson won the 2024 WNBA award with a unanimous vote.
In a survey of 67 sportswriters and broadcasters, Clark defeated Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who she faced twice in the NCAA playoffs.

Reese won one first-place vote, while the 22-year-old guard received 66 to win the prize.
Earlier this week, Clark was unanimously selected as the Associated Press’s Rookie of the Year.

In 40 regular-season games for Indiana, Clark started and averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists a WNBA record), 5.7 rebounds, 1.33 steals, and 35.4 minutes.

In addition to setting WNBA single-season records for points scored (769) and three-pointers made (122), Clark also set records for assists (337) during his debut season.
Clark was selected as the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for August and started for Team WNBA in the 2024 WNBA All-Star Game.
She also won four times as the Kia WNBA Rookie of the Month and three times as the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week.
