Burna Boy might have a new single on the way.

Following a busy 2024, Burna Boy is gearing up to close the year with a bang with the release of a new single that will soundtrack the Detty December festivities.

In a new update on The Outsiders Instagram channel, Burna Boy hinted at the release of the new single with a post of the title “Bundle By Bundle”.

The Grammy winner earlier teased the single with a post on his Twitter page which was also followed by a similar post by his long-term collaborator Telz who produced several songs on his Grammy-winning album ‘Twice As Tall’.

The single will be Burna Boy’s second release of 2024 and a follow-up on his Grammy-nominated single ‘Higher’ whose music video saw him take an emotional trip back to his hometown of Port Harcourt.

The single is expected to drop in the coming weeks as Burna Boy wraps up what has been a record-setting year.

Earlier in the year, the award-winning star became the first African artist to perform at the Grammys main ceremony where he shared the stage with rapper 21 Savage and R&B icon Brandy.

Among other historic feats, he achieved his breaking the records for the highest-grossing concert by an African artist in the United States and Canada.

‘Bundle’ is expected to be one of the songs off Burna Boy’s upcoming 8th album rumoured to be titled ‘No Sign of Weakness’ set for release in 2025.

Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has shared the reasons behind her decision to officially drop her family surname, Otabor.

Speaking in a recent interview with TVC News, she expressed that her choice stemmed from long-standing feelings of exclusion and mistreatment by her family.

She stressed that her choice is not her ‘disowning her family,’ but simply giving them what they want.

“This is me finally accepting how they’ve been treating me because they’ve never treated me as one of their own. This is me finally moving out of it because I was tired of begging anyone to be in my life. So I won’t say I disowned them, it’s me giving them what they’ve always wanted,” the reality TV star explained.

Reflecting on her upbringing, she revealed that she had always felt alone, even as a child, and has since worked hard to build a life for herself.

Phyna explained, “For now, I would say I’m by myself, I’ve actually always been by myself right from childhood so I’m not even bothered. See how I’ve worked hard for myself so for me to be in this stage right now, I’m not sure I need someone to stress me out. If I’m living by myself then I must be doing through right thing for myself because only myself and I know what I’ve been through. They haven’t even reached out to me and that’s how it’s always been, so I think we’re good now.”

This interview follows a heartfelt post on her X account (formerly Twitter) in November 2024, where she expressed frustration and confusion about her family.

Her post read, “I am publicly dropping my family surname OTABOR… it has been proven that I actually have no family and nobody knows how I came about…. I’m still searching for answers though… it’s been rough with me lately…… I’m in a place where I can’t even describe how I feel or what to call what I’m going through right now. Going up and the way I was tossed around relatives I should have suspected but guess I was too young… omo my head wan tear!!!!!!”

The surprising revelation many fans are just finding out is that Mark Angel no longer manages Emmanuella and Success.

The 33-year-old revealed that he no longer holds the position because of his increasingly busy and demanding schedule in a viral TikTok live session.

While there are speculations that this change must have occurred following the allegations from former crew member, Denilson Igwe, who recently accused Mark Angel of financial exploitation, the owner of the popular Mark Angel Comedy clarified that his decision was not related to the recent controversy.

Mark Angel, however, assured fans that he is still in creative partnership with the teen stars, noting that their management was now being handled by a professional agency.

In his words, “I no longer manage Emmanuella and Success. They are now being managed by a professional agency because I have more work now and am too busy to manage them. But I still work with them.“

Recall that Denilson Igwe during his recent appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast alleged that the award-winning content creator was cheating him and the rest of the crew members.

He also claimed that he started Mark Angel Comedy and was the one filming the content which Mark was posting on Facebook in their early days but he wasn’t informed when the Facebook page got monetised.

He added that Mark didn’t give him a dime from the proceeds of the monetisation until 2016 when he gave him ₦50,000 after buying a car for himself.

Igwe also alleged that Mark was paying one of the crew’s top stars, Emmanuella ₦20,000 monthly whereas they didn’t know that they were making $160,000 monthly then off Mark Angel Comedy’s Facebook revenue.
