Guardiola praised Frank’s abilities after the game, expressing his conviction that the Dane will soon be managing a bigger club.
“I’m not surprised it hasn’t happened yet, but it’s just a question of time,” Guardiola said. “I’m good at recognizing when a manager is good, and it’s going to happen.”
The Brentford boss has been linked to several top clubs, including Manchester United, who reportedly held talks with him last summer amidst uncertainty over Erik ten Hag’s future.
