Reality TV star and influencer, Tacha, has expressed her disappointment over the way Nigerians in the UK treated her during a recent outing.

In a video shared online, the former Big Brother Naija housemate revealed that despite running into several Nigerians, many of them chose not to acknowledge her presence. Instead, they pulled out their phones to record her rather than saying hello.

You guys won’t believe the number of Nigerians I saw today, which is great, but the crazy part is that they would see you and not say hi to you. So it’s like you see me and you’re not saying hi.

She recounted how the locals acknowledged her presence and said hello, as opposed to her fellow Nigerians who snubbed her.

I can’t count how many white people who saw me and gave me compliments said I looked beautiful. Including a high school kid and an old man.  I can’t even start to list the people who said I looked good but the crazy thing is the Nigerians. They saw me and what came into their heads to do was to pick their phones up to record me.

She went on to warn people against picking up their phones to record her if they’re not going to say hello.

Let me sound this warning clearly: if you see me on the road and don’t say hi to me I don’t need it, I won’t say hi either. But when you see me on the road, don’t bring your phone out to record me.

Dammy Krane has selected a curious album name and release date for his upcoming album.

The singer has elected to call his album ‘5ive’ after Davido’s upcoming album. He also chose April 18 as the release date for the album, which is the same as the fourtime Grammy nominee.

Dammy Krane’s actions, while curious, don’t come as a surprise to readers who are familiar with his rift with Davido, whom he accused of owing him the royalties from their collaboration.

‘Dammy Krane, who enjoyed mainstream success in the mid-2010s with the hit single ‘Amin,’ used to be friends with Davido before the two fell out.

Davido has been the target of several social media attacks by Dammy Krane, who went as far as accusing the hitmaker of having a hand in the passing of some of his associates.

These social media attacks resulted in Dammy Krane’s arrest by the Nigerian police in 2024 before he was subsequently released after tendering an apology for making false accusations against Davido.

Reacting to Dammy Krane’s incessent attacks and name calling, Davido called him an ungrateful person whom he gave three verses to help his career.

While Davido has revealed the motive behind naming his album ‘5ive,’ Dammy Krane’s decision to do the same doesn’t suggest any connotation beyond playing to his rift with the hitmaker.

Dammy Krane’s decision to choose the same release date is likely motivated by a desire to benefit from Davido’s stardom, as listeners searching for the hitmaker’s album might find his own.
